Bremen is gearing up to host Germany’s premier German Unity Day Festival. The Hanseatic city will celebrate the anniversary of German reunification from October 2nd to 4th. The celebrations will span the entire city center. Attendees can explore the Schlachte promenade along the Weser river and the Osterdeich embankment. Moreover, admission is completely free for all events. Visitors from the Bremen and Lower Saxony transport association area can even travel free by bus and train.
